New Delhi: Another serious allegation has been levelled against Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal as a former MLA has said that he kept him in confinement for a day ahead of forming a government in Delhi in 2013.

Former AAP MLA Harish Khanna is the latest person to come out against Kejriwal. According to him, the incident occurred when he was scrambling to get the numbers to make a government in Delhi. Khanna said Kejriwal had released a sting operation on September 8 2013 against Sangam Vihar MLA Dileep Mohania. On that day, he called all his MLAs to his house and issued a whip that until they propose their case for making a government to Lieutenant Governor, no MLA would leave his place.

He said Kejriwal arranged for their food in his house and disallowed anybody to leave the premises of his house.

On Tuesday, former AAP MLA Rajesh Garg said it was AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal who would make his men call MLAs, impersonating as BJP leaders Nitin Gadkari and Arun Jaitley’s men to offer money for supporting BJP.

“During initial phase of Govt formation,I myself received a call which said they were calling from Jaitley ji's office,” he told ABP News.

“I was offered 10 crores, some more MLAs got same kind of calls, I took a screenshot of number and lodged police complaint,” he added.

“After police arrested a man during investigation,I got a call from Arvind's PA and  Sanjay Singh asking me to withdraw complaint,” he said.
