Nagaland Class 10th, 12th Results 2019 declared; Wangshitemjen Ozukum (HSLC), Suhana Begum (HSSLC) state toppers
NBSE has released results of HSLC (Class 10th ) and HSSLC (Class 12th ) this afternoon on its official website.
Students of Class 10th in the state of Nagaland have improvised upon their last year’s result by approximately 2% (66.01% in 2018). For Class 12th, while Commerce and Arts results have shown marginal improvement of close to 1% from 73.75% Commerce and 73.42% Arts in 2018; there’s a dip of nearly 3% in the Science stream as compared to 84.39% in 2018.
Wangshitemjen Ozukum of Mokokchung is the state topper for HSLC with 588 marks out of total 600, thereby obtaining 98%. For HSSLC, Suhana Begum of Dimapur bagged the top spot by scoring 480 marks out of total 500 and obtaining 96% in Commerce stream. In Arts, Imtijungla Pongen topped 94.40% (472/500) and in Science Ananya Kumar Das topped with 94.60% (473/500).
Private schools in the state have put up a good show with 84.76% students passing Class 10th vis a vis 43.32% in state’s government schools. However, the gap was not so apparent for Class 12th result viz:
Arts Pass Percentage:
Government schools - 76.24%
Private schools - 82.43%
Commerce Pass Percentage:
Government schools - 87.27%
Private schools - 80.34%
Science Pass Percentage:
Government schools - 72.48%
Private schools - 86.77%
