Once the result is declared students will be able to apply for the scrutiny of their answer sheets. From this year onwards, the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has hiked the scrutiny application fee from Rs.100/- per subject earlier, to Rs.500/- per subject now. UPMSP’s decision to introduce a five-fold hike in the re-evaluation fee of answer scripts came in the wake of restricting applications only from those candidates who appropriately feel a huge gap between their expected and actual marks. As per board officials, UPMSP receives way too many scrutiny applications than it should.
In order to pass UP Board Exams 2019, students are required to secure minimum 35% aggregate marks. The UP Education Board is also delving upon changing its grace marks scheme in order to save students’ one academic year.
