'Chemistry has triumphed over poll arithmetic': PM Modi thanks Varanasi voters for resounding win

“BJP not limited to Hindi heartland states”
“Political pundits say BJP is a Hindi heartland party. We have the most number of seats in Karnataka still we are Hindi heartland party? We are running Govt for years in Goa, the whole northeast, Assam, Ladakh everywhere we are governing or winning, still we are Hindi heartland party,” Modi said durng his address.
“Chemistry defeated arithmetic in Lok Sabha elections”
Modi said that political analysts will have to accept that beyond poll arithmetic, there is chemistry. He said that the hattrick of the party in Uttar Pradesh in 2014, 2017 and 2019 is a big achievement and that UP is giving a new direction to politics. He said that even after this if the political analysts do not realize the reality, they are living in 20th century and are irrelevant for the 21st century. They need to agree that there is chemistry beyond poll arithmetic.”
“Synergy between government’s works and party workers”
PM spoke on importance of 'perfect synergy' between government and party and said that work and workers create wonders. “Work and worker when combined together create wonders. Government makes schemes for people, and worker assures people at ground level that it is just the beginning. Worker generates confidence among people,” PM told party workers.
“Sabka Sath, Sabka Vishwas”
"We followed our motto of 'Sabka Sath, Sabka Vishwas', that is why the 10 percent reservation system for general category people was introduced; if we also did politics of vote-bank, this would never be done," said Modi.
Takes a dig at people damaging public properties:
Prime Minister said that people need to realise that public institutions are their own properties and should not casue damage to them. Taking a dig at those who damage seats in public bsues he said: “People keep their own vehicles clean, but when they travel in government buses, they dig their fingers inside the seat covers when they get bored.”
Before PM Modi, BJP president Amit Shah also addressed the party workers and said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has transformed Kashi in the last five years.
