CBI arrests Special Metropolitan Magistrate in Delhi for accepting bribe of Rs 25,000

Special metropolitan Magistrate RP Bhatia was arrested in Delhi after he was caught red-handed taking bribe. Bhatia, who looked after matters related to Municipal Corporation of Delhi, had allegedly challaned the shop owner and was asking for a hefty sum of money for settling the challan. The first installment of the sum which was to be paid was of Rs 25,000. After the complaint was filed, CBI laid the trap and caught Bhatia red-handed.
