Kejriwal to move back to Kaushambi residence
The former Delhi Chief Minister is also expected to retain the Hanuman Road office in Central Delhi, which will be converted into a make shift accomodation cum office."He (Kejriwal) is expected to vacate the Tilak Road residence by month end and will move to Kaushmabi," said a senior AAP source.
Interestingly, the party's registered office is also at the same place and it was from here that the party drew most of its strategies for the assembly election in December last year.
Kejriwal will move to a house, alloted to his wife Sunita, an Indian Revenue Service officer, in Kaushambi in Ghaziabad. Before moving into the Tilak Road residence as the Delhi Chief Minister in Central Delhi, the AAP leader was staying in Girnar Apartment, along with his two children and parents.
Party sources said that Kejriwal will also stay in the Hanuman Road office."This will serve as his office cum residence. More importantly, he will also stay in New Delhi assembly constituency, which he represents.
The Hanuman Road office, a two storey structure including a terrace serves as office-cum-residence for several AAP volunteers and leaders including senior party leaders like Gopal Rai and Sanjay Singh.
The AAP leader's house has always been a matter of controversy. After he resigned as the Delhi Chief Minister, Kejriwal did not vacate the house on the pretext that his daughter Harshita was appearing for XII Board exams. He had also informed the authorities that he would vacate the house by July end and until then pay market price.
While he had almost zeroed down on a house at Civil Lines, the house got embroiled in a legal tangle following which he decided not to move in there.
