New Delhi: Swachh Bharat Abhiyan of Prime Minister Narendra Modi may have worked wonders across the country but, unfortunately, his own constituency failed to reap any benefits. Of the total surveyed 73 cleanest cities, these 10 "topped" from bottom.

Here are the top ten dirtiest cities of India:

1) Dhanbad

Dhanbad is a city in the Indian state of Jharkhand, India. It is the second most populated city in Jharkhand. Dhanbad along with its urban areas population ranks 42nd in population amongst other cities in India.
2) Asansol

Asansol city is in Bardhaman District in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is the second largest city in West Bengal after Kolkata and the 35th largest urban agglomeration in India.
3) Itanagar

4) Patna
