BJP, Alka Singh (41136 votes) won this seat in the 2013 Rajasthan Assembly Elections by a margin of 5777 votes. Runner-up Shailendra Joshi of the NPEP had secured 35359 votes.
Third position was held by Ram Kishor Saini of INC who secured 28671 votes.
Fourth position was held by Bhag Chand of IND who secured 11691 votes.
Total voter turnout was 139148. The total poll percentage recorded was 78.36 %.
