The constituency comprises of a total of 198285 voters.
BJP, Ku. Jagat Singh (74415 votes) won this seat in the 2013 Rajasthan Assembly Elections by a margin of 3357 votes. Runner-up Zahida Khan of the INC had secured 71058 votes.
Third position was held by Sher Mohammad ( Mannaka) of LJP who secured 2704 votes.
Fourth position was held by Gopi Chand of NCP who secured 1897 votes.
Total voter turnout was 158788. The total poll percentage recorded was 80.08 %.
