New Delhi:  Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh’s Mumbai wedding reception was a star-studded affair. The who’s who of Bollywood including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, Katrina Kaif, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Vidya Balan, Janhvi Kapoor attended the bash to wish the newly married couple. The reception saw several rumoured couples make a stylish entry together, be it Tiger Shroff –Disha Patani or Farhan Akhtar-Shibani Dhandekar. However, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt gave the reception party a miss.

Speculations were rife that Ranbir and Alia had a jam-packed schedule and they did a 20 hour shift for their much-awaited film ‘Brahmastra’. Therefore, the two actors couldn’t attend the bash.

A report in an entertainment portal dismissed the reports and suggested that Ranbir chose to skip DeepVeer’s reception party because of the ‘Channa Mereya’ jokes that have been doing the rounds on internet.
