Lil Wayne's tour bus faces gunfire in Atlanta
Los Angeles: Lil Wayne had a close call as his tour bus was shot at in Atlanta recently.
According to the sources, it was after Wayne performed at Compound nightclub that shortly after 2 tour buses pulled away from the club, the shooting went down post 3:30 am, TMZ.com reported.
No one seemed to be injured.
It is believed that the 32-year-old rapper and a few other artists, including Lil Twist and Hood, were present on either of the bus, but it's unclear if it was the one that was shot at.
The law enforcement sources said that the bus was immediately driven to a nearby hotel, after which cops were called, and the only description available is that the suspects were in 2 white vehicles, one a sports car (possibly a Corvette) and an SUV.
