Ever since Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar opted out of Gulshan Kumar biopic-'Mogul' over differences with the film’s script, speculations of the actor replacing him are rife in the media. It was rumoured that Ranbir Kapoor, who delivered the blockbuster ‘Sanju’, will play the role of Gulshan Kumar in his biopic. It was said that Aamir Khan, who is producing the film, is keen to have the ‘Brahmastra’ actor on-board. As per the latest buzz, Sushant Singh Rajput has also been approached for the film.

A report in a leading daily suggested that the ‘Kedarnath’ actor has been contacted by the makers for their dream project. The ‘Kai Po Che’ actor is said to have the date required for filming the movie.

The report in DNA said that Ranbir Kapoor, who is busy shooting for Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’, is yet to take a decision.

Interestingly, both Ranbir and Sushant have starred in a biopic. While the Kapoor scion was part of Sanjay Dutt’s biopic-‘Sanju’, Rajput played Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the former cricket captain’s biopic- M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story.
