The makers of 'Shubh Mangal Saavdhan' have shared a fun & quirky video to introduce the entire cast of the film with main lead Ayushmann Khurrana. The sequel to the 2017 movie 'Shubh Mangal Saavdhan'(also starring Ayushmann in lead role), deals with the subject of homosexuality and the taboo surrounding it while the earlier film starring Bhumi Pednekar opposite Ayushmann addressed the subject of erectile dysfunction with humour. The animated video shows the characters representing the members of 'Tripathi family' and their would-be-bahu is played by 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' actress Pankhuri Awasthy. The family plays a pass game with a black cauliflower and the son of the family keeps missing it because he is interested in not in his would-be-wife but Ayushmann's character Kartik.

Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao who earlier shared screen space with Ayushmann in the 2018 hit movie 'Badhaai Ho' were already announced as the cast members of 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan' which is directed by Hitesh Kewalya.

And here is the rest of the cast...

Gajraj Rao as head of the family Shankar Tripathi, Neena Gupta as his wife Sunaina Tripathi, Pankhuri Awasthy as Kusum, Jitendra Kumar as family's son Aman Tripathi, Ayushmann Khurrana as Kartik Singh, Manurishi Chadha as Chaman Tripathi, Sunita Rajwar as Champa Tripathi, Maanvi Gagroo as Goggle Tripathi, Neeraj Singh as Keshav.

Film talks about the same-sex love and it is very funnily portrayed with this animated video and the commentary running in the background.

Ayushmann shared the video with a message: "Jeetega Pyaar Sehparivaar! #ShubhMangalZyadaSaavdhan @raogajraj @Neenagupta001 @Farjigulzar @iammanurishi
@maanvigagroo @SunitaRajwar @Panawasthy_31 #NeerajSingh Written and Directed by @hiteshkewalya @aanandlrai @itsBhushanKumar @cypplOfficial @TSeries

The makers of 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan' had also released an animated teaser of the film on May 9. The 50-second-long teaser perfectly captured the evolution of love stories in India and how people are familiar with heterosexual relationships like Romeo-Juliet, Laila- Majnu, Mirza-Sahiba, Raj-Simran. A few moments into the teaser, we get to see love stories of homosexuals which existed in the society but were never known or talked about.

Produced by Anand L Rai and Bhushan Kukmar, 'Shubh Mangal Saavdhan' which went on floors over two weeks back, will release on March 13, 2020.
