New Delhi: After an injury ruled out Aaron Finch from the Indian Premier League, Mumbai Indians have signed New Zealand all-rounder Colin Munro as replacement for the Australian.

According to a report by The New Zealand Herald, Munro will be joining the team on Sunday. Mumbai Indians have registered just one win in their first five games and are struggling after Finch and Corey Anderson’s injury.

28-year old Munro has had a good performance in the domestic season playing for Auckland. He has scored 899 runs in nine games, including an innings of 281 in 167 balls.

The big-hitting left-handed batsman has represented New Zealand in a Test in 2013 against South Africa, and was also a part of the U-19 World Cup squad in 2006.
