New Delhi: Vijayendra Kumeria and Meera Deosthale starring ‘Udaan’ is one of the most loved daily soaps on Colors TV. The show has been entertaining the viewers since August 18, 2014 and has completed over 1200 episodes. Speculations have been rife that the show will take a 10-year leap and the new story will focus on Chakor and Suraj’s daughter Anjor.

Yesterday, we had contacted the show’s lead Meera for confirmation on the leap and she said that the production house didn’t inform her about the upcoming leap. She had also refuted the rumours of co-star Vijayendra quitting the show.

A recent report in an entertainment portal suggested that ‘Udaan’ will go off air soon. Fans were left disappointed when the news of the show going off air hit the internet.

We contacted Prachee Pathak aka Tejaswini Rajvanshi to get a confirmation on the news of the show getting axed.

“No, the show is not going off air,’’ Prachi exclusively told Filmymonkey.

She also confirmed that the show is taking a leap. We also asked her if she would continue to be part of the show after the leap.

‘’No, the entire cast is being changed. The story is moving from Aazadganj to Mumbai,’’ Prachi added.

When asked if Meera and Vijayendra will also quit the show, she said, ‘’Nobody from the original team will be part of the show post the leap.’’
