Karn Sangini: Tejasswi Prakash & Aashim Gulati's show to go OFF-AIR on February 25
The show starring Tejasswi Prakash, Aashim Gulati was launched at the 7pm slot on October 22 but it couldn’t set the TRP charts on fire and failed to garner audience. As per the latest buzz, the show will go off air by the end of this month.
A report in an entertainment portal suggested that ‘Karn Sangini’ will air its last episode on February 25.
Narayani Shastri, who plays the role of Radha in the show, confirmed the news of the show going off air. When asked about what went wrong with the show, the actress told IWMBuzz, “These things are better answered by the channel and production house.”
The show, based on the fiction novel ‘Karna’s Wife: The Outcast’s Queen’, is produced by Shashi Sumeet productions. The makers tried everything possible to grab eyeballs and they even changed the storyline and replaced the actors. However, the ratings never picked up.
It remains to be seen which show will replace Karn Sangini’. Star Plus has several shows in pipeline including the supernatural show- ‘Divya Drishti’ and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ spin-off. The promos for ‘Divya Drishti’ are currently on-air and speculations are rife that the show will replace ‘Qayamat Ki Raat’. However, the channel is yet to make an announcement.
