25000 home guards have been thrown out of their duties by the Uttar Pradesh government. This step has been taken ahead of Diwali. These people have no other option now and are bound to protest against the government.
The Yogi Adityanath government has given budgetary pressure as the reason behind it.
A home guard gets only Rs 672 per day for their duty.
