ABP Results: BJP+ 168, Congress + 81, Others 8

The results of much-awaited Maharashtra and Haryana Assembly Polls, held on October 21, will be declared today, on October 24 . Counting of votes will start from 8 am and the final results are expected to be announced by evening after all votes are counted by the Election Commission officials.

In Haryana, the main contest is between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress on several seats but the new Jannayak Janta Party (JJP), which broke away from the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD), is also said to the king maker in the elections.

In Maharashtra, the main parties in the fray are the BJP, Shiv Sena, the Congress and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). Assembly Elections in the state is said to be a close battle of two alliances: BJP-Shiv Sena on one hand, and the Congress-NCP on the other.
