BJP-Shiv Sena alliance might form govt even after the tussle

Shiv Sena trying to create pressure on BJP's top leadership so that Shiv Sena ends uo getting the best portfolios. Both the BJP and Sena, who have 105 and 56 seats, respectively, in the 288-member Maharashtra Assembly, are now exploring ways and means to form a government, independent of each other, as their Plan B. The Shiv Sena was unhappy with BJP even during the first term of Devendra Fadnavis-led government as it felt slighted. However, it came around just before the Lok Sabha elections earlier this year to contest the polls together.
