Around 100 people are feared trapped after a massive fire engulfed the Mahanagar Telephone Nagar Ltd. (MTNL) Bandra building here on Monday afternoon, an official said.

The blaze erupted at around 3.10 p.m. on the fourth floor of the ground-plus-nine storeyed building and started spreading upwards, reportedly trapping many working in the building.

The MTNL telephone exchange is located on the busy S.V. Road and around 31 fire tenders have rushed to fight the conflagration.
