East Delhi DCP Prabhakar today said Delhi Police is thankful to Bihar Police who helped them nab the accused from Muzzafarpur. He is in remand. He took Swatantra Sainani Express via Chapra he went to his in-laws house on April 17. We are trying to bring him to Delhi to conduct interrogations. He is 22-years-old. He stays with his father in Delhi. His father has a juice stall and Manoj works as a casual labourer in a garment factory. Unless we have a custodial interrogation with Manoj or unless the child recovers we cannot confirm involvement of a second person. The minor girl was locked up in the room for almost 40 hours and the accused thought she was dead and he left her there.
