Gujarat BJP MLA apologised after caught on camera kicking a woman

A Gujarat BJP MLA Monday apologised after he was caught on camera kicking and punching a woman who was demanding restoration of water connection in her locality in Ahmedabad district. The legislator, Balram Thawani, tendered an apology after the video of the assault went viral, saying "she is like my sister". The Congress and NCP demanded action against Thawani, MLA from Naroda constituency, while the BJP condemned the incident.
