Babita Kumari Phogat is an Indian female wrestler, who won the gold medal in 2014 Commonwealth Games and 2018 Commonwealth Games. She also won silver medals at the 2010 Commonwealth Games and a bronze medal at the 2012 World Wrestling Championships.
The election result would be out on October 24, coinciding with the Maharashtra assembly election result.

A total of 1,169 candidates, including 105 women, are in the fray. One candidate is a transgender.
