Imran Khan gets disappointment from Trump on Kashmir mediation

Updated 24 Sep 2019 10:28 AM

Describing himself as “an extremely good arbitrator”, US President Donald Trump renewed his offer of arbitration between India and Pakistan at a meeting with Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session in New York. Trump said that he was ready to mediate between the two nations only if both sides agreed on that.
“If I can help, I will certainly help,” Mr. Trump said, describing the Kashmir issue as a “complex” one which has been going on for a long time.
