In Punjab, the Congress does not even consider their CM as their own: PM Narendra Modi

Updated 03 Mar 2018 08:27 PM

Prime Minister Modi was addressing the Bharatiya Janata Party workers at party headquarters here. The party cadres gathered here to celebrate BJP's victory in Left bastion Tripura. Within one minute of Prime Minister's speech, Maghreb Azaan began at a nearby mosque. The Maghreb Azaan is given out at dusk. As soon Prime Minister Modi heard Azaan, he stopped his speech and informed the party cadres about the Azaan. Till the time Azaan continued, Prime Minister Modi and party workers maintained complete silence in order to pay respect to the Muslim prayer.
