India will get its first Rafale fighter jet any minute now

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is in France on a three-day tour. He reached Bordeaux-Merignac Air Base to receive the first Rafale fighter jet. Handing over ceremony would begin shortly. In this ceremony, Rajnath Singh would also do Shastra pooja
India has entered into an inter-governmental agreement with France and Dassault, the French aviation major, to acquire 36 Rafale fighter jets in flyaway condition at a cost of Rs 59,000 crore.
