Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh is situated on the banks of the Ganga. Most of the people living in this area get the water supply from the Ganges. But this time due to the excessive heat, the Ganges has gone dry. It is more unfortunate that at some places river is flowing in the form of drain. Due to this problem, water crisis has become major problem in this place.
