Master Stroke: 213 injured as typhoon Mangkhut slams south China

Typhoon Mangkhut, the world's strongest storm this year, ravaged the southern Chinese province of Guangdong after pummeling Hong Kong and killing dozens in the Philippines, authorities said on Monday.

A construction elevator shaft reportedly fell on top of a housing development project building during typhoon Mangkhut on Sunday. Typhoon Mangkhut had slammed into mainland China late Sunday after leaving a trail of destruction in Hong Kong and Macau.
