Master Stroke(08.08.18): Maratha Kranti Morcha divides over staging 9 August protest

Updated 08 Aug 2018 11:11 PM

As Maharashtra gears up for a Maratha protest on Thursday, various factions of the Maratha Kranti Morcha, the organisation that has been spearheading the cause, have decided not to go ahead with the strike.

One of the main demands of the community is reservation in government jobs and education. The statewide district coordinators of the Morcha are committed to conducting a 'thiyya andolan'.
