Controversial Bihar independent MLA and strongman Anant Singh has been booked under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) after the seizure of a AK-47 rifle and grenade from his ancestral house, police said on Saturday.
Anant Singh’s arrest seems eminent as the offences registered against him do not have the provision of an anticipatory bail. Additional Superintendent of Police Lipi Singh will lead the investigation against the MLA.
