PM Modi arrives in Sri Lanka, visits bombed church, pays homage

After touring to Maldives in his maiden foreign visit of second term, Prime Minister Modi today arrived in Sri Lanka, the neighbouring island nation, becoming the first ever foreign dignitary to visit it after the Easter Sunday carnage that killed over 250 people, including 11 Indians. Modi's visit reflecting the importance India attaches to its 'Neighbourhood First' policy, comes in the second leg of his first foreign visit after re-election.
