Rajkot: Civil Hospital Flooded With Rain Water

Nineteen persons were killed in rain-related mishaps in Gujarat on Friday night and on Saturday, including 16 deaths in incidents of wall/building collapse, as Saurashtra and central Gujarat were lashed by heavy rains. As of Saturday morning, Gujarat had received 77.80 percent of annual average rainfall, with south Gujarat receiving 98.31 per cent rainfall, Met department data showed. With every tehsil in the state receiving good showers and water stock in dams at 60 per cent, there is no longer drought anywhere, chief minister Vijay Rupani said.
