Rajya Sabha Pays Two-Minute Silent Tribute To Sushma Swaraj

Vice President Venkaiah Naidu said that he would be deprived of the honour of getting a rakhi from Sushma Swaraj this year. The Rajya Sabha then paid a two-minute silent tribute to the leader.
Former External Affairs Minister and senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj passed away on Tuesday night here at AIIMS. She was 67. Hospital said Sushma was brought to AIIMS at 10:20 pm and was straight away taken to the emergency ward.
