Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met his mother Heeraben Modi at her residence in Gandhinagar on the occassion of his 69 birthday. 

PM Modi reached his mother's house in Raisan village where he meet his mother, sought her blessings and even had lunch with her.Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday greeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday, wishing him good health and happiness. 

Modi turned 69 on Tuesday and was greeted by several top leaders from across the political spectrum.
