Uddhav Bal Thackeray is an Indian politician who is the chief of Hindu nationalist Shiv Sena party. He is the son of Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray. Earlier, Uddhav was looking after Hindu while being actively involved in election campaigning activities.  Polling began on a peaceful note on Monday morning across all 288 Assembly constituencies of Maharashtra amidst tight security.

Braving rain in many parts of the state including Mumbai, early voters turned up to exercise their franchise.
