UPA wins vote on FDI in retail

The motion against FDI in retail was defeated in Lok Sabha as opposition got only 218 votes. The motion against governments FEMA amendments was defeated 254-224. The 22 MPs of the Samajwadi Party and the 21 MPs of the Bahujan Samaj Party walked out of Lok Sabha ahead of the crucial FDI vote in Parliament.
