In an exclusive interview to ABP News, Sourav Ganguly revealed that he had never expressed his aspirations for the post and was not aware of his name being considered for the job until the night on Sunday.

" I had never expressed any kind of  aspirations to become the BCCI President and i never spoke or requested anyone regarding the post. Especially with me, good things happen in my life in such manner every time." said Ganguly.
